Frequently Asked Questions

I am travelling to the UAE on holiday with my wife who is a wheelchair user. Can we get nursing visits to our hotel?

Yes, We are fully licensed by Dubai Health Authority and can deliver care in your home or hotel.  We can provide a registered nurse or assistant with a minimum booking of 4 hours daily.  We also offer doctor visits if required.

I am having surgery and live alone. Can I get a nurse to help me at home?

Absolutely!  We provide registered nurses and assistants who will assist you in your recovery.  Their role is to support with pain management, mobilisation, wound care and activities of daily living.  We also have a team of Physiotherapists that can promote rehabilitation and aid in a fast recovery.

Can I choose my nurse?

Once we received your request, we will contact you to arrange a clinical assessment in your home or hospital.  This assessment ensures that we match suitable nurses with the correct clinical skills to look after you.  We can also arrange a face-to-face introduction or video call before your service starts. 

What sort of experience do you have?

All of our nurses have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and are licensed by the Dubai Health Authority. Each member of our staff holds basic life support and first aid certification and has a minimum of two years of experience across varied healthcare sectors. Our team of professionals are committed to the guidelines set by the World Health Organisation and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.

As part of the Komplex Group in the UK, we are accredited in the UK and our services are held to the highest UK standards.

How long will I need homecare for?

We understand that homecare is not always easy to plan for, and situations may arise when you are not certain about the length of time a nurse will be required for.

To make things easier for you, we offer short and long-term services. Our clinical manager will stay in touch to evaluate your needs throughout your time with us.  Perhaps you have been discharged from hospital and require wound dressing for a few days or maybe you are looking for long-term care for a chronic disease.  Whatever the need, we are here to support.

Is there a minimum booking period?

We are here to be as flexible as possible but do have a minimum booking requirement of 4 hours per day. If you have an emergency situation and we do have availability, we will of course do our best to help. We know that life is not always predictable and above all, we want to support where we can.

How do I pay?

We want to make each step of the process as easy as possible, so once confirmation of the booking is emailed to you, you will also receive a payment link. Once payment is received, we confirm your booking and that’s it!

If you would prefer to pay by another method, please do let us know as soon as possible, as payment must be made in advance of the service.

What happens if I am unhappy with the service?

If for any reason you are unhappy with the level of service, we will do our very best to rectify any problems as soon as possible. Our client care team will be on hand to deal with your concerns.
